Would it be hard to repaint the spoiler on my car?
My 2000 Chevy Cavalier still looks and runs great, but the spoiler has chipped and faded and is the only part of the car that looks bad. I’ve looked at replacement spoilers, but at $200, it’s more then I want to spend. How hard would it be to repaint it myself and what process should I follow? I know it’s more then just sanding and spray painting, so I hope an automotive body expert can answer this. Thanks.
remove it off of the car to sand, primer and paint it. dont use rattle can paint. looks like sh#t. rattle can primer is ok. remember to wetsand it! with 320 grit sandpaper. you need a paintgun to do a good job.
