Is a security enforcement employee the same as a police officer?
Let’s say for example that they drive a vehicle that says City of Albuquerque security enforcement. The vehicle’s painting is the same design as the city police cars. So are they police officers as well?
I started to blindly answer no. But being employed by the city, its possible. They may have different divisions within their police dept. You should be able to find out by looking at the city’s website. Or if all else fails, a quick call to the non emergency number to the police dept will answer your question.
