Paint.net for NASCAR 09?
OK, so I’ve been asking a bunch of questions about the paint booth for NASCAR 09, and they’ve all been very helpful. Now that I’m set up on Paint.net and I have my template, I have a few questions about the program, as I’m not at all tech or artistically savvy :/
1)I’m assuming that in order to make my car an actually manufacturer, I need to put the lights, grill, etc. on the template. My question is…how do you do that? lol How do I get the lights and everything a)on the car in general, and b)on the aprropriate layer? Also, where do I find the headlight logos and such?
2)How do I get the numbers on the car, and where do I get those logos?
3)How do I assign objects/designs/logos to a specific logo?

First, you’re going to need the PSD plugin for Paint.net. This will allow you to utilize all the logo and number graphics on

This site has loads of numbers and logo’s for you to use.
As for the headlights and manufacturers, there is another site that has many templates for all manufacturers (and a few fictional too!)

Also, once you get your car painted, save it as a jpg, and register with this site: http://www.ten0rsrendershop.com/index.php , upload the jpg into the request slot and wait 5 minutes. They do free 3d renders on all the chassis on several different scenes.
