Anybody had any experience with Earl Scheib auto body for painting? They seem to be better then maaco.?
They offer 6 year warrantes for their next step up paint job seems pretty good. 6 years for an older car. They guarantee for chips, fading, cracking etc….
They are still a discount paint service. To repaint a car correctly, you need at least to sand down the old paint, and these places usually just respray, so you will get flaking and chips.
Depending on the car, it may be worth it. If you have a nice car and you want to keep it for a while, go for a $1,000 paint job or better. If its a beater car, you getting rid of it soon, or you don’t care, a $300 Scheib job will suffice.
