How much does it cost to get my car completely repainted?
I want to paint it a hot pinkish color, its a 2000 silver mustang coupe. Also where do I go to get that done in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
To change a car from one color to the next. To have it done properly and to make it look right. It would be called a “complete repaint”. Meaning inside of door jams, under the hood, inside the trunk, etc. This would also mean all glass comes out, all trim comes off as well.
Since this would be pink over any color. The foundation would have to be prepped and then sealed so no color bleed through over time. Which adds to the price even more.
You could have this done at say a place called Macco for about $750. But you better never wash the car as it might wash off the pink. To have it done properly, so it looks nice, like a normal paint job from the factory. You are in the $3500 range.
