Are you tired of bumper stickers?
More specifically bumper stickers that throw out an opinion. Don’t get me, wrong having your own opinion is great. It just seems a little cowardly to paste your opinion on the back of your car and hide behind the steering wheel of a 3000 lb vehicle. If you want to be opinionated do so in a forum that can provide feedback.
Political bumper stickers are the worst, I still see some bush ‘04 and kerry ‘04 stickers putting around town every so often. They could at the very least put a new one on for the more recent election. And since I am easily distracted, I can’t help but read every bumper sticker I see. Some are funny but it just doesn’t make sense to ruin your paint just to show everyone your beliefs, not to mention an opinion that’s popular enough to be on a bumper sticker.
I don’t know. I guess I just don’t get the point of bumper stickers.
i understand what you mean. but i do have quite a few bumper stickers, mostly stating my opinions. sorry if youve ever seen my car around. lol!
however, in my defense, i drive a tiny car. i cant exactly hide in it. (that was a joke.) but seriously in my defense, i say the same things directly to people if the conversation is brought up, i dont only declare what i believe on a sticker driving around town.
i guess i might be different though, because i live in a tiny country town that loves guns and america and jesus very much, and i display liberal stickers, an obama sticker, and one expressing my atheism. im surprised i havent been shot, seriously. so basically, im kind of an idiot anyway.
