Where is a symbol of Alexander Calder’s La Grande Vitesse painted?
In Grand Rapids Michigan there is a sculpter by Alexander Calder http://www.bluffton.edu/~sullivanm/michigan/grandrapids/calder/vitesse.html (follow link to see pictures). At first the town didn’t like it, now it has become a source of civic pride. A symbol of it is painted somewhere, like maybe the police cars or something. I need to know where the symbol is painted.
After doing a couple of searches, came up with Grand Rapids Public Library collections site where it said that it was used for city letterhead, the Grand Rapids logo, and apparently is still being used on the sides of the city garbage trucks.
