Tiny rust spots on my truck’s paint?
Hi everyone out there, I have a problem with the paint of my white F-150 XLT supercrew.
I live in NY and went on some road trips during the past few years as far away as FL and Georgia and even Maine. I began to notice theres some rust spots on my car. There are not dents or cuts in the paint, just rust spots like little dots. Is there a way to clean them off with a cleaning substance?

“Cleaning” them off is not a solution to the problem. If you see little dots on the outside they are probably the result of larger ones underneath. Look on the underside to see how extensive the rust is. Sanding them down and touching them up is only a temporary fix. The spots will return unless you address the problem from the underside out. Get an estimate from a quality body shop. They can help you see the problem more clearly.
