what is the best way to remove painted pinstripes from a car?
I have tried oven cleaner & clear coat compound agents but no luck. I read about using 1500 grit sandpaper but that concerns me a bit with the clear coat… what to do?
If they’re decals and not clear coated over then you may be able to lightly apply heat with a hair dryer and it should lift off. If they are painted on or clear coated over then unless you can live with damaged paint just leave all alone.
