How do I get old tape off of car paint?
The windows on my car were broken into last week. i placed tape and plastic over it until i could get them fixed. the tape covered some of the paint. it was there for a week. now some of the tape won’t come off. How do i get it off the paint?
Is it masking tape? If you don’t have WD-40, you can use baby oil, or other large weight oil. WD-40 or goo-gone if you have it though. Use a cotton round, or bid of napkin to adhere the oil to the tape surface so it can penetrate, and it should slide off after about 20 minutes.
