1971 torino, good price?
hi, i’m buying a 1971 torino gt 2 door hard top for $1,500
its a project car.
the torino needs the back quartars, floor, trunk, bumpers, and interier redone.
the car has a 4 speed 351 clevland that runs, new front body work and an ok unibody frame (the part near the back bumper is almost completle gone but still restoration)
i have machanical experiance
is this a good buy or should i go lower?
I would think that it is worth it You should be able to get that out
of a 351 Cleavland.Sounds like you will get some body experience.
You can make all most any panel if you take your time and if know any
one that is a true body man they may be able to give you some pointers.I will say when you go to mig weld in your panel do 1/2 ”
welds then take a wet rag and cool.
