What website do you recommend to sell a Classic Car?
We need to sell a 1940 Buick Special that would be a good restoration project for someone. What website would be the best to list it at that is legitimate, posts pictures, low cost, and remains listed until sold???
Do a Google search for car clubs that specialize in classics. You may be able to even find a club centered around the Buick Special. Then find their web site on line and approach them about putting an ad on their site or in their newsletter (it may be free). Take lots of pictures and make a few available in the ad and the rest as a package that can be e-mailed for. These folks that do restrorations center their love on particular cars and need to have a working project going at all times. I know… I am one of them.
You should find the door tag (or where ever the coded plate is that shows how the car was originally configured) and supply a photo of this as some folks like to do concourse restorations… bring the car back to its original color and options just as the first day it sat on the show room floor (the concourse).
The 1950 Buick Special is…. very special… you should have no problems selling it. The big sell points are… what parts do you have that are not reproduced (or very hard to get) and what kind of shape are they in?
