New Paint job?
I wanted to get a new paint job on my 94 honda prelude si but i dont have an estimate of how much it will cost. The old paint is losing its clear coat and is chipping from the moonroof, bumper, rear spoiler. Plus the car has exchange paint with others before i bought it. The original color is black, How much does it cost to have it repainted that color, are there any other restoration alternatives
What I would do, because I’m so cheap, is work on it myself. Take your problem areas and prep them for paint, and put some graphics in those areas. Skulls, flames, kittens- whatever you want. That would look great with the black paint. Get some car mags with articles on painting in them. Hot Rod just finished a year-long series about doing a complete paint job.
