Vinyl Car roof?
I am looking at restoring a car but it has a vinyl roof. I am not fond of them so I will want to remove it.
I am going to repaint the entire car so is there anything I should know when I am removing the vinyl from the roof?
Any tips or information would help. This is my first car restoration.
some cars you have to take the front and rear glass out to get the vinyl roof off and when you do get it off you will probably find some rust plus you will have to sand the roof down to metal to get all the glue off and expect to find a sloppy job of welding where the quarter panel comes together with the roof line.
