How much would I get at a junkyard for a 1964 Ford Falcon?
I am in MA. The car is in pretty good shape. I had it running then it stopped running and then some girl hit the door and ripped it off when I was about to get out of it. I need it gone and I was wondering if I should sell it for parts or restoration or sell it to a junkyard.
I know its a piece of history and honestly my favorite car. Junking it is the equivalent of shoting a deer and letting the meat spoil. At this point I might have to pay for the damage to the girls car since I just bought mine and didn’t have it insured. I am royally f&cking broke is the problem and need money now.
How badly was it damaged?
Whatever you do, don’t sell it to a junk-yard! They’ll screw you over any which way they can. At the very lest, I’m sure your Falcon has several good parts on it…and some of those Falcon parts are pretty hard to find. I’d suggest putting it on eBay Motors with a reserve and go from there.
If I lived closer to you (I’m in California), I’d be showing up at your door with some money and a trailer…
