You have several choices.
First and easiest and cheapest is to get a free webpage like in Yahoo Geocities. You don’t have to have a dot com or anything. Just sign up and make your page with their templates. Downside is you won’t get alot of traffic or be picked up by the search engines.
OR you could use something like MySpace, also free and would have more traffic but you would be better off to…
Buy a domain. They are like $15. That is your page address. Examples are www.yahoo.com or mine is www.lurker00.com
Then you have to get a server (called a webhost)… a place to store your files. That costs anywhere from $5 a month to thousands per year depending on the services you want. I pay $90 a year for 1 gig of storage space.
THEN you have to build the page with some sort of editor (or have it done) , upload it to your server and point your domain to that server. It is less complicated than I make it sound. Contact me for specific details I could help you with. (always willing to help a fellow car guy!
