Any body shop people with car restoration know how…?
Hi, I have a 72 slant6 and there are some pretty nasty rust areas around the back window just around where the vinyl top used to be. The rust is pretty bad and can not just be repaired, and so I think I will need to find a ‘parting car’ and graft out the pieces of body that I need to install into mine. I’m looking for some direction on what tools that I will need to do this. Will I need a metal saw?…a torch of some kind? …I’m a newb. Here is a general idea of what I’m looking to do…
