Where can i find a good, cheap, auto shop to remove paint?
I am thinking of painting my car a new color, but first i must remove all the paint and its too much of a hassle. Does anyone know where there is a cheap place in the los angeles area where they will do a good job, and at a very affordable price?? Thank You for your help!!
I am not from the LA area so I cannot recommend a shop. You should be aware however that it is not necessary to remove the existing paint just to change the color. If the existing finish is in good condition the only thing you should have to do is apply sealer which seals the older paint and color and then prep and apply the new color. This would still be more expensive than repainting with the old color since you may want to paint the door jams, under the trunk, and under the trunk lid. This takes a lot of prep and can be expensive.
