CLASSIC CAR RESTORATION INFO
classic chevy restoration questions?

its an all original 1965 bel-air with a 283 small block

1)what are some small upgrades i can to to a 283 small block chevy engine, looks or performance, doesnt matter.

2)would a magna-flow or cherrybomb muffler be stupid to put on this car

3)what are some good, small subs that i can put in the back seat

4)how much will this car be worth if i restore it to 100% original… i have the original window sticker, receipt, manual, everything that came with the car( i know its not gonna be much, i just want an idea)

5)some good wheels(cragar mags or american racing)

thanks, any info will be appreciated
the car has 30,000 miles on it

Bore the motor .060 over, put in a little warmer torque cam,
overhaul the whole motor, if it has 125,000 miles its probably very tired.

Cherry bombs on that car would be more than stupid.

The more you stay with the original look of the car the more it will be worth.
