I want a 1st gen. Camaro?
I love the first generation Camaro’s, but don’t want the problems that usually go with 40+ year old cars. I don’t have the time to deal with any restoration. I really want a recreation so I can have that classic look, but drive on modern mechanics. I just can’t seem to find any thing. If someone could tell me of where I can find a turnkey car, or even a kit car would be nice. I don’t want one of those cheesy bodies that goes on an s-10 or something like that. Please help me if you can. The only other thing is I want to spend less than Fifty grand. Thanks a lot.
For under 50 – you’ll be hard pressed to get the full modern treatment, but you can get the complete body and frame for the 69’s now from a company called Dynacorn – the units sell for about 12k. I know somewhere they’re making resto-fied kit Camaros from these for somewhere around 45k – call Dynacorn and ask.
