Looking for a 1967 4dr chevy impala hardtop?
I’m not in any rush, but if anyone can point me in the direction of one that is selling (preferably somewhere in Aust as opposed to the US) that would be great. Doesn’t matter if it needs some work. It’s going to act as a restoration project with my dad (he was so proud when he found out I loved classic cars)

The sad fact is that most 4-door Impalas have been crashed, crushed, and/or parted out to fix a coupe or convertible, so they’re hard to find even in the US. I’d be surprised if any were brought to Australia, since who in 1967 would want a family car with the steering wheel on the wrong side? If your heart is set on this specific year and model you’ll most likely have to import it, which will likely cost more than the car. If you’re restoring it you’ll also need to bring over a decent parts car, since none of the 4-door only parts are reproduced. But the good thing is you’re in Australia! Get something that we Americans wish we could have, like a Ford Falcon, Holden Monaro or Chrysler Valiant Charger! If you’re set on restoring an American car, get a Chevelle, Firebird, GTO or something since those have a decent amount of reproduction parts available. Trust me, you’ll be a lot happier.
