Can anyone help me find the color “BARCELONA BLUE” for a 50 Mercury? I just need the paint, we are painting.?
My dad just turned 70 and after raising 4 kids wants to FINALLY repaint his custom 50 Mercury. He cannot find the color BARCELONA BLUE anywhere so I am asking the help of all yahoo members!
Do you know anyone in the paint business, car business, or any business that might make that color???
I am not exaggerating when I say, this will make this man extremely happy, I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t send you something for your time and effort. He is totally old school and very appreciative when anyone goes out of their way, especially make his dream come true!

Again the paint color is BARCELONA BLUE – it is such a dark blue it looks black most of the time, but when the sun hits it a certain way…it is blue…it is such a cool color
my suggestions is go into a home improvement store like Lowe’s and look through the colour charts and find something close then if you want to make it lighter ad a little white to a cup or a little bit of navy to make it darker then find out how much it would take to cover the whole car and scale it up to the right amount from 1 cup
