Where can I find a diecast GTO ?

Where can I find a diecast GTO

The legendary Pontiac GTO was what many consider to be the first muscle car. Stuffing a large 389 V8 engine into a intermediate sized body was a formula for performance, and sales success. This formula was followed by many other manufacturers after the GTO came into existence. The goat was one of a few cars of the day to use multiple carburetors, besides the Chevy Corvette. The original production run of the GTO was from 1964 to 1974. Some highlights were the 1969 Judge, available with an optional Ram Air IV engine, and for 1970 a 455 cubic inch engine option.

Fast forward to the present day. Muscle car prices are out of sight. Some sell for ten times or more than their original selling price. It can be hard to find a suitable GTO for a restoration candidate today as rusted out hulks can go for top dollar on e-bay. There is a solution to this modern day problem though. Maybe you used to own a GTO back in the day. Or maybe you always wanted one but could not afford it.

The affordable solution is a diecast GTO. There are high quality replicas of almost every year model made. There is even a 1964 diecast GTO. Most diecast models have opening hoods, detailed interiors, and undercarriage. There are several different companies that make them also. They are just as collectible as the real thing and can go up in value too, just as the real GTO did. I must warn you though, collecting these diecast cars can be an addictive hobby.
