Do I need to prime my Revell model car?
My girlfriend bought me a Revell model of an Enzo Ferrari (no. 85-2192). The paint guide and instructions do not mention priming the parts before painting, only paint and clearcoat, but the guy at the shop where I bought the paints told me I’d need primer. I primed and painted some of the parts and they look ok, but not great. I’m not sure whether this is just because I’m not so good at painting them properly yet or because I was not supposed to have used primer. Is there any way to tell?
Primer is always a good idea.Painting with spray cams or airbrush takes a bit of practice. Best of luck.
