Has anyone ever constructed a car scale model before? Are you suppose to use super glue as adhesive?
One of my friends bought a box with a car scale model parts to be constructed and painted into a car scale model.
Some parts of the car must be attach to fit. The question is: Are you suppose to use super glue? How do you keep them together? The instructions said you are suppose to use water or something, but my friend is having doubts about it.
The product my friend has is similar to this product, where someone is suppose to build a car with given parts and paint it.

You’re going to want to use a glue that made for plastic model kits. Something like this:

Now, the kit you linked to also includes photo-etched parts. If your friend’s kit has those, he’ll need to use super glue for them.
It is recommended that before you start to work on the kit, you wash everything in warm, soapy water to get rid of any casting impurities that may still be on the plastic.
When it comes time to put the decals on, that’s when you need to put them under water (preferably warm water) for 20 seconds or so. Only do the decal you are applying, though; don’t dip the whole sheet!
