I want to restore a old car any tips on where I could find good info on how to do this & where to find parts?
I have a 1977 Ford LTD that I want to restore. I know its not a typical restoration project but the car was my first car and has sentimental value for me. Is there any advice anyone can give me to help me get this project off the ground? I am not quite sure where to start or what I will need to do. If anyone knows of any good resources for parts, how to’s, or any information about these cars or restoring them would be helpful.
Well learn as much as you can about the car, like, how much it will be worth when finished. (I know you will never sell it, but really now, 90% of all people sell their dream car at some point in there life). How many aftermarket parts are available, how much rust repair and so on.
If the parts are hard to find which I would say they are maybe atart with an easier project car like a nice Mustang or a Camaro or a Chevelle or a Trans Am or a Cutlass (can’t tell Im a GM fan can you?)
