Thinking about buying a Scion TC?
I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla,it’s a nice car,but I’m feeling like it’s time to trade up.It has 130,000 miles,the paint doesn’t quite match because it’s had an accident,the exhaust needs work,the interior looks OK but some of the plastic is scratched all up.I figure maybe I should trade it while I can still get good money for it.I saw a 2009 Scion TC at the dealership for $16,800.I’m thinking I could get $4000 trade for the Corolla.I just don’t know about the insurance,cause I got an online quote,and it’s $2,400 for just 6 months at Allstate.I’m 26.My Corolla is only about $948 for 6 months at Allstate.Should I trade? I have a pretty secure job and just in case I’d get gap insurance on my loan.
i say yeah go for it. i have a tc and i love it. i traded in my kia spectra for one and my insurance went up only 40 dollars. so it was well worth it. maybe try AAA for your insurance?
plus the tc is super fast for a 4cylinder car and looks great…good luck!
